HR Advisor - Nigeria - Administration (United Kingdom)
The Role
The Human Resources Advisor oversees end to end daily HR activities and operations of Crop Doctor, Armajaro Nigeria Limited and emerging businesses. They act as the first line of support to all employees and business managers for any HR related queries. The HRA is required to travel to up country state such as (Kano, Kaduna,Minna etc) around 20% of their time.
The Human Resources Advisor(HRA) will:
- Be responsible for the end-to-end management of talent supply and demand in alignment with organizational talent requirements and workforce planning
- Implement talent management practices in line with organisational policies such as TNAs, performance management, and coordination of development programs that meets current, future and changing business needs.
- Responsible for Onboarding and Offboarding of staff; leaver administration, pre-employment checks, coordinating and executing orientation, induction, probation follow-up, and exit interviews.
- Responsible for up-to-date and accurate HR data analytics and electronic and paper-based employee records, leading all HR master data changes in the HRIS platform Success Factors
- Work with Group and Regional HR on tasks and projects as required.
- Manage Employee services and build relationships with employees and colleagues to ensure information is communicated clearly and appropriately.
- Coordinate and manage key employee engagement activities such as town halls, staff events, etc.
- Embed the ECOM values and culture by review, update and implementation of policies that supports embedding the right behaviours in ECOM Nigeria and in line with Group policies.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or relevant field
- Relevant HR certification (eg. CIPM/PHRi/CIPD/SPHRi, etc) are required.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in a fast pace working environment (FMCG, Sales and Distribution etc)
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office package (especially Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Self starter with strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrable strong integrity, high levels of confidentiality and attention to detail
