Trade Support Analyst Cacao Latitude - Trading/Sales/Marketing (United Kingdom)

Our Cacao Latitudes business exists to match passionate chocolate makers with extraordinary cacao that leaves a positive impact. We build direct and long-lasting bridges that connect artisans to spectacular, sustainable, and socially conscious cacao, reducing the distance from bean to bar while supporting farmers and environments crucial to producing unique and flavourful origins. Part of the ECOM Group, we a small dynamic team that sell to over 100 customers in over 20 countries throughout Europe and continue to grow.

We are looking for a Trade Support Analyst to support the Cacao Latitudes Sales team by assisting with client relations, reporting and providing general support to the team.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Sales Contract input & management
Reconciling trade input to in-house trade system
Position Maintenance – update daily purchase and sales positions, global stock positions
Reporting of trading positions
General sales/trade administration
Contribute to developing innovative ways to improve procedure and efficiencies
Updating and maintaining physical cover sheet
Understand the market by learning about the current marketplace and contribute to the team.

As part of the Team, there is the opportunity to learn the specialty Cacao business, the supply chain and our unique business working with our specialist customers.

Skills & Experience Needed:

We are looking for individuals that have a minimum of Minimum 1 years’ work experience within a supply chain, trade, business or related area and should be educated to Degree level in business or any related field or A 'Levels plus equivalent experience. Candidates must have a proven knowledge of commodities (ideally Cocoa) or agricultural/food sector including understanding of market.Excellent Excel skills together with excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail are necessary as is exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with clients/stakeholders. Fluent English skills are essential and addition French language skills would be a plus.
